Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Run With Analytics (“RWA”, “we”, “us”) is an endurance training intelligence platform. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to support@runwithanalytics.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to RWA and information you authorize connected services to provide to RWA.

Depending on the service and permissions you authorize, this may include account/profile identifiers and training activity information such as activity type, dates and times, distance, duration, elevation, heart rate, cadence, power, temperature, workout metadata and related activity details.

For Strava users, RWA accesses Strava data only after you authenticate with Strava and authorize RWA through Strava's authorization flow. The exact access granted is controlled by the permissions presented during authorization.

3. How connected training data is collected

Connected training data is collected through authorized provider APIs after you connect an account. For Strava, RWA uses the Strava API and receives provider notifications such as activity changes and authorization changes through Strava webhooks. RWA may also perform controlled synchronization to establish and maintain your training history.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to operate RWA and provide features you request, including importing and displaying your activities, building your endurance profile, calculating training and performance analytics, producing training and race insights, maintaining account integrations, troubleshooting problems, securing the service and supporting your account.

RWA does not sell your connected Strava data. Strava data is not used for targeted advertising or sold, licensed or made available to data brokers, advertisers or model developers.

5. Strava data and API usage

Strava data obtained for an authenticated athlete is used to provide RWA features associated with that athlete and is subject to the permissions and privacy choices associated with the connected account.

Strava may collect information about RWA's access to and use of the Strava API for purposes described in Strava's own terms and policies.

6. Storage, security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect account information and connected training data. Access credentials and provider tokens are used only to operate authorized integrations and should never be sent to RWA support by email.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide RWA, satisfy the purpose for which it was collected, comply with applicable requirements and complete valid deletion requests. Provider-specific data is also subject to applicable provider requirements.

7. Disconnecting Strava and withdrawing authorization

You can withdraw RWA's access to Strava using the Disconnect control in RWA while signed in. You may also revoke RWA from the authorized applications area of your Strava account. RWA processes provider deauthorization notifications and applicable data removal in accordance with its obligations.

8. Access, export and deletion

Signed-in users can access imported activity data through RWA and use available account controls to export their RWA account data. You can delete your RWA account through the account settings deletion flow.

You may also request deletion assistance by emailing support@runwithanalytics.com with the subject Data Removal Request. RWA will provide confirmation when a deletion request has been successfully completed.

9. Service providers and disclosures

We may use infrastructure and service providers where necessary to host, secure, maintain and support RWA. We do not disclose connected training data except as necessary to operate the service, comply with law, protect the service and its users, or as otherwise described in this policy and permitted by applicable connected-provider terms.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights relating to your personal data, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. Contact support@runwithanalytics.com to make a privacy request.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as RWA develops, integrations change or applicable requirements change. The current version and last-updated date will be published here.
